The ninth annual “Cycling for Preemies” ride, organised by the Panos Evripidou Foundation in collaboration with the Mora Thavmata Association, saw a powerful turnout, wrapping up with great success. Held in memory of Panos and Christian Evripidou, brothers who were born prematurely, this year’s event took place on May 18, 2025.

Over 120 cyclists gathered to ride under the slogan “Every Pedal, a Wish” – in support of every premature baby fighting for its life in neonatal intensive care units, with the hope of them making it home soon.

“On behalf of the Panos Evripidou Foundation, I sincerely thank all the cyclists, attendees and supporters who contributed in any way to this initiative,” stated Foundation President Marlo Evripidou. “A special thank you goes out to our sponsors and partners – without their contribution, this event would not have been possible.”

The Panos Evripidou Foundation’s mission remains unwavering: to improve the quality of life for children born prematurely who face ongoing medical challenges. To date, the Foundation has supported 220 kids across Cyprus, many of whom suffer from serious health conditions. To date, the financial assistance provided has exceeded €410,000.

As a non-profit organisation, the Foundation continues its efforts tirelessly, turning every donation into an act of love and hope – offering smiles and a stronger start for the lives of premature children.
