The tallest man in the world, Turkish farmer Sultan Kosen is currently paying a visit to the north, where he has already been pictured with fans.
Verified by the Guinness Book of World Records, Kosen arrived for a visit in the north on Friday.
“We took our first step to Cyprus,” he wrote on social media, sharing a video of his arrival at Ercan airport where he was welcomed by a crowd.
Kosen first took the Guiness World Record at the height of 2.46m in February 2009.By February 2011, he’d grown even taller, measuring 2.51 m.
He has defended his title ever since.
