The federation of Cyprus patients’ associations (Osak) on Tuesday called for improved quality of health services and personalised care following the holding of its AGM.

While positive developments had been achieved, the quality of services needed to be further strengthened, Osak said, emphasising the need for digital upgrades to the existing system.

According to Osak, this included enhanced interoperability, granting patients access to their personal health data and the use of electronic health tools “to improve care and make informed decisions”.
