Due to the devastating fires, the swearing-in ceremonies for the latest class of National Guard conscripts have been postponed to next week, the defence ministry said on Thursday.

The new draftees will take the oath of allegiance at 8am on Tuesday, July 29.

Initially the ceremonies across boot camps had been scheduled for Friday, July 25.
