The search and rescue centre JRCC on Friday afternoon rescued a woman who had fallen from the sea caves at Cape Greco in the Ayia Napa area.

An ambulance, members of the fire department, a police patrol and a boat from the maritime police were called to the scene.

JRCC reminded the public that diving and entering the Cape Greco sea caves remain strictly prohibited due to increased erosion of the soil in the area.
