A moving car caught fire on the Achelia-Ayia Varvara road in Paphos on Thursday morning, police said. 

The blaze broke out around 9.45am, completely destroying the vehicle.

Two passengers, a 75-year-old woman and her 82-year-old husband, escaped unharmed.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and quickly extinguished the flames.
