A 40-year-old wanted by the Russian authorities in connection with cases of fraud between 2019 and 2022 was arrested on Wednesday afternoon on arrival at Larnaca airport, the police announced on Thursday.

The suspect will be taken before the Larnaca district court on Thursday for a remand order.

Police investigations are ongoing.
