Firefighters continue to battle a wildfire in the mountainous eastern Paphos region, which broke out on Wednesday.
The fire is in the Pentalia area, close to the Panayia tou Sinti monastery, a site of cultural heritage.
Authorities have deployed local fire service units, along with volunteers and members of the Atlas fire protection team, to help contain the flames.
Residents and volunteers reported seeing three separate fire sources, raising concerns about possible arson. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
Efforts to bring the fire under control are continuing. Firefighting teams are monitoring the situation closely, particularly around the monastery, to prevent damage to the historic site.
