The right lane of the Nicosia–Limassol motorway, near Pentakomo, has been reopened to traffic after being temporarily closed due to a collision.

According to a police statement, the crash involved two cars that were left immobilised in the right lane around 10.30am on Thursday.

Officers arrived on site to manage and regulate traffic, which had been diverted onto the left lane.

The two vehicles have since been removed from the motorway, and the right lane has been fully reopened, with traffic now flowing normally.

The police are urging motorists to drive with caution and follow traffic signals to help prevent further collisions.
