A new tourist development project, worth €134,000, will be developed in the Potima area of Kissonerga, with a relevant agreement signed by the municipality of Akamas and the developer on Tuesday.

The project aims to create “modern and functional infrastructure” to both qualitatively upgrade the area and increase its attractiveness to tourists.

Following what has been described as a “sustainable development approach”, the project is expected to highlight the natural beauty of the area and upgrade the quality of life of residents.

The signed agreement comprises consultation for the project, the preparation of relevant studies, the creation of architectural and technical plans and the supervision of the projects which are to be built in the area.
