A fourth suspect was arrested on Wednesday in connection with 230kg of drugs found last month in Nicosia, along with a firearm, explosives and a large number of firecrackers.

The 27-year-old suspect is expected to be taken before a court on Thursday for a remand order.

The three other suspects, aged 34 and two aged 26, remain in custody.

Police investigations are ongoing.
