A fire broke out in an abandoned house in Larnaca late on Wednesday night, the fire brigade said on Thursday.
According to the fire brigade, the fire broke out at around 11.30pm, with two fire engines arriving on the scene shortly afterwards, and the fire being brought under control by 11.44pm.
People in the area were temporarily evacuated, though the fire brigade was keen to stress that no people were “in danger” at any time.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
