A fire broke out at a private members’ club in Larnaca during the early hours of Thursday morning, causing “extensive damage” to the premises, the police said.

The police and the fire brigade were informed of the fire at around 3.45am and rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.

The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
