With a strong social impact, Kokkinotrimithia B’ Primary School organised the Third Student Charity Marathon “Little Runners – Big Hearts, Drive Safely” with great success on April 25, 2026. The event was held under the auspices of Health Minister Neophytos Charalambides. As in 2025, this year’s event was dedicated to road safety, highlighting the importance of cultivating responsible road behaviour from an early age.
ERB ASFALISTIKI, the largest General Insurance Company in Cyprus and a member of EUROBANK, the leading banking and insurance Group in the island, actively supported the event, reaffirming its longstanding commitment to social contribution. Promoting road safety is a key pillar of the Company’s corporate philosophy, with ongoing initiatives and collaborations with the relevant authorities. The Company places particular emphasis on educating children and preventing road traffic accidents.
The relay race was at the heart of the April 25, 2026 event, which saw the young runners, accompanied by parents and teachers, symbolically cover the 42 km of the classic marathon route. The event was further enriched by a variety of activities that promoted the spirit of cooperation, fair play and the value of collective effort.
Funds raised from the event will be allocated to support the needs of the school’s children. ERB ASFALISTIKI extends its warm congratulations to the organisers, volunteers and all who contributed to the success of the initiative — especially the children, who, through their enthusiasm and example, effectively conveyed the important messages of road safety.
ERB ASFALISTIKI remains firmly committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen social cohesion, promote responsibility and invest in the future of our children. With consistency and accountability, the Company continues to contribute to shaping a safer society, where prevention, education and collaboration form the foundation for a better tomorrow.
