The police on Thursday morning urged caution after a dog walked onto the motorway between Nicosia and Kokkinotrimithia, near the Pournara migrant reception centre.

According to the police, the dog was walking between both carriageways, while offers were on the scene “trying to contain it”.

As such, they urged motorists to “be particularly careful and drive at low speeds” in the area.
