Athalassa Park was filled with energy, smiles and people of all ages as it hosted “Eurolife Run The Park 2026” for another year. Runners and walkers, young and old, turned out for the event, combining their love of exercise with support for an important social cause.

With the central message “In this race, everyone takes part”, this year’s event brought together people of different ages and abilities, highlighting the importance of an active lifestyle, prevention and solidarity.

The programme included a 10km race, a 5km race and an 800m children’s race for under-12s, as well as a 5km corporate race for employee teams, giving everyone the chance to participate in their own way.

Support for the Karaiskakio Foundation once again held a special place in this year’s event. Through the corporate race and the children’s race, €2,500 was raised and presented to Dr Dimitris Andreopoulos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Karaiskakio Foundation, to support its work.

“Eurolife Run The Park is an initiative that grows every year through the participation of the public. It is particularly important to us that people of different ages and abilities are here together today, sharing the joy of exercise while also supporting a meaningful social cause,” said Eurolife General Manager Athena Shipelli.

For his part, Louis Pochanis, Executive Chairman of Eurolife Insurance Companies, emphasised the unifying power of the initiative. “Today demonstrates that sport can provide an opportunity for meaningful connection and giving. With every step and every participant, we send a message in support of health and prevention, while at the same time making a tangible contribution to the work of the Karaiskakio Foundation,” he said.

“Eurolife Run The Park 2026”, organised by Dro.Me.A. Racing with the support of Eurolife, came to a close after a day filled with movement, positive energy and meaningful giving.

For another year, the event demonstrated that exercise can serve as a meeting point, while also providing an opportunity to make a tangible contribution to an important social cause.
