Representatives from Pafilia Property Developers and Minthis recently travelled to Kazakhstan to support the inaugural UNICEF Charity Golf Tournament, bringing together diplomats, business leaders, entrepreneurs and philanthropists for an evening of sport, philanthropy and meaningful connections.
The event raised approximately KZT 60 million (€120,000) in support of UNICEF, adding a significant charitable dimension to a gathering that brought together influential figures from across Kazakhstan and the wider region.
The tournament culminated in a gala dinner and charity auction featuring an exceptional collection of sporting experiences and memorabilia associated with some of the world’s most recognised athletes, including tennis champion Elena Rybakina, football icon Lionel Messi and Olympic skating champion Mikhail Shaidorov.
Minthis takes centre stage
Minthis was prominently represented throughout the tournament and gala, introducing the resort to a new and influential international audience.
During the gala, Renata Ben-Dor and Antonis Tsangarides represented Pafilia and Minthis, addressing guests and presenting the main winner certificates and Minthis prizes on stage. The occasion provided an opportunity to share the story of Minthis with an audience from Kazakhstan and the wider Central Asian region, alongside internationally recognised names including Ritz-Carlton and Tatler Asia.
For Pafilia, the event forms part of its wider international business development strategy and growing engagement with the Central Asian market. The company’s participation at this level marks an important step in developing relationships and opening new international audiences through creating connections between Cyprus and Kazakhstan.
