A 75-year-old German was found dead in his home in Livadia on Monday afternoon, police said.

Authorities were called to the property when neighbours noticed a strong odour coming from the house.

The man was found in an advanced stage of decomposition.

Investigations to determine the man’s exact cause of death are ongoing.
