Ayia Napa municipality announced Wednesday it would be offering free counselling services during the pandemic in collaboration with the health ministry.

The services will be offered via phone or Skype from Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5pm after an appointment.

“Fear of infection with Covid-19, joblessness and financial difficulties are some of the changes that inevitably affect people’s mental health and well-being,” the municipality said in a written statement.

The counselling and mental empowerment sessions will be offered by mental health nurses with specialised knowledge and training, the announcement added.

People can book an appointment on 99 152816.
