Hey kids, in this video, Ghanaian-British artist and educator Harold Offeh shows you how to make a colourful, creative ‘sensory sculpture’ from everyday materials.

A sensory sculpture uses different objects and elements to stimulate all the senses and is great fun to assemble.

To make this sculpture you will need:

  • Glass or plastic bottles
  • Scissors
  • Plasticine or sticky tack
  • Tape
  • Water
  • A selection of things that smell, feel soft or crinkly, make a sound
  • Food colouring
  • Spices or herbs (e.g. cinnamon or mint)
  • Card, tin foil, scraps of old paper
