Wildlife dos and don’ts: caring for vulnerable fawns

Every pet deserves a loving and respectful home: please only consider acquiring a pet if you will be able to take care of its long-term needs. Also, consider choosing your animal companion from a shelter, where there are so many wonderful furry friends who need a forever home.

In some countries, where the wildlife includes deer, it is possible to come across fawns that have become lost, temporarily left on their own by their foraging mums, or who are injured and in need of care.

In this video, we learn the do’s and don’ts of what constitutes appropriate care in these situations.
