Coronavirus: Ministry warns of long queues at seven testing sites

rapid

Seven rapid testing sites where long queues had built up have been highlighted by the ministry of health on Monday lunchtime, which said wait times there were more than 45 minutes.

In Nicosia, long queues are seen at the State Fair in Engomi, at Panayia Evangelistria church in Pallouriotissa, at Ayios Georgios church in Latsia and in Ayios Charalambos church in Yeri.

The site at the Larnaca municipal theatre and Grigori Afxentiou square in Limassol, as well as at the Era Korivos forecourt in Paphos were also busy, the ministry said.

“To avoid inconvenience, citizens are encouraged to visit one of the other testing sites, where the waiting time is shorter and they can be assisted faster,” the announcement said.
