A car was destroyed on Saturday night at the Larnaca airport and two others were damaged after fire erupted on the first vehicle.

All cars were parked at the airport’s employee parking lot.

The blaze was put out by the fire service that was alerted at around 11.40 pm.

It is believed that the fire must have been caused by an electrical or mechanical problem in the car but further investigations were to be carried out on Sunday.
