A boat with around 50 people was spotted off Cape Greco on Sunday afternoon.

The vessel was spotted 16 nautical miles off Cape Greco.

Police vessels with nurses and translators were on their way to the area the boat was located.

According to the Cyprus News Agency, police would check the migrants’ documents and will receive instructions on what to do.
