V&A’s ‘Curious Alice’ goes down the VR rabbit hole

‘Curious Alice’ is a new Virtual Reality experience that invites us to tumble down Lewis Carroll’s famous rabbit hole and embark on a mind-bending trip into Wonderland.

The fully immersive, interactive re-imagining of Wonderland is the result of an innovative partnership between the Victoria & Albert Museum and HTC Vive Arts, produced by immersive games studio PRELOADED and featuring original artworks by Icelandic illustrator Kristjana S. Williams.

In this video, we go behind the scenes to learn out how ‘Curious Alice’ was made, and how visitors to the exhibition ‘Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser’ – opening at the V&A on May 22 – will experience it for themselves – although a version is also available to download through VIVEPORT to experience at home.

Learn more about ‘Curious Alice’ here.
