Decoding a Korean landscape’s hidden symbols of longevity

In this video, British Museum Korean collections curator Eleanor Soo-ah Hyun takes us through a Korean landscape, painstakingly embroidered across 10 silk screens.

While at first the work seems like a very bountiful landscape, upon closer inspection, every element incorporates one of the 10 Korean symbols of longevity.
