Coronavirus: Just four bookings for violating measures

Police handed out fines to just four individuals for not abiding with the measures in place to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours.

Police carried out 3,387 checks throughout the island, reporting two people in Limassol and two in Famagusta.

In the last 24 hours ending at 6.00am on Saturday, police carried out 323 checks in Nicosia, 989 in Limassol, 626 in Larnaca, 315 in Paphos, 531 in Famagusta and 77 in Morphou, while the Traffic Department carried out 328 checks.
