Playground in Lakatamia also caters for children with disabilities

Lakatamia municipality announced on Tuesday another playground that includes toys for children with disabilities has been completed and is ready for use.

The playground is located at the Ayios Georgios park, where “new equipment has been placed in the park for children of different ages to enjoy,” the municipality announced.

Both the playground and the equipment, of European standards, have been checked for their safety by an accredited body, the municipality said.

Equipment accessible to children with mobility problems or disabilities has also been placed at the Nikos Spanos park on Iremias and Agapis streets, it added.
