Over-riding evolution: the wasp that re-programmes spiders

When parasites take over their hosts, they can actually change their hosts’ behaviour. The effect on the host can range from aggressiveness to losing its ability to make decisions.

But what happens when this kind of parasitic relationship is established between spiders and wasps? The answer, arising from 2018 scientific research and observation, is the subject of this SciShow video.
