The 1975 passenger bus that became a tiny home with a view

Ordinarily, buses summon up fairly quotidian A-Z travel – often in the context of ferrying schoolchildren to their daily lessons, or as part of a busy city’s public transport system.

Thinking of such vehicles as homes is a less-common association… but in this video, we tour the Sooke Ski bus that has been successfully converted into a comfortable, eco-friendly residence, while permanently parked on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Today, the 1975 MCI Motorcoach serves as a tiny house on wheels that boasts panoramic windows, a living room with a pellet stove, a full kitchen and bathroom, and a cosy bedroom at the back of the bus.
