UClan Cyprus’ university is organising an open day at its award-winning Larnaca campus on Wednesday, where potential students can “discover a world full of opportunities”.

Participants will be able to learn more about the programmes offered by the only British University of Cyprus on Wednesday, July 21 at UCLan Cyprus Campus in Larnaca, from 10am to 7pm.

The University of Central Lancashire Cyprus provides students with a double degree upon graduation, one from UCLan UK and one from UCLan Cyprus offering “recognition and employability opportunities in Cyprus, the UK, Europe and beyond”, a university press release said.

At UClan, local and international students “receive top-quality British education…while saving 2/3 of the total cost of studies compared to other Universities in the United Kingdom, as a result of Brexit and the discontinuation of the British Student Loan.”

The University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom, UClan’s mother university, has more than 190 years of history.

The University of Central Lancashire is considered among the top 6.5 per cent of all worldwide universities by the Centre for World University Rankings (CWUR) 2020/21. It is one of the largest and most modern universities in England with its student community listing more than 35,000 students from more than 150 countries.

During the open day, potential students will have the chance to complete the HOGAN professional career test and discover their ideal career path based on their personality and characteristics.

Academics and professional staff will be available to provide all information regarding studies at UCLan Cyprus, and the entry requirements for September 2021, as well as future career opportunities, scholarships, halls of residence and student life.

Volunteers will also be on the spot, to provide all the necessary information, including Larnaca’s student life.

The university reassured that the health and safety of the attendees and staff during the open day are top priorities and UCLan Cyprus will be taking all the necessary Covid measures and precautions.
