Explosive device damages house in Nicosia

An explosive device placed on the garage door of a house in Nicosia on Monday morning caused extensive damages, with the windows of an adjacent house also being impacted in the process.

The explosive device went off at around 5am in the Kallithea area of Nicosia.

Police have already turned to CCTV footage to determine the identity of the perpetrators and are currently investigating the matter.

The house is believed to be owned by businessman and former Apoel president Christoforos Potamitis.
