Coronavirus: 35 individuals, two businesses booked

In the last 24 hours, police booked 35 individuals and two business owners for violating the measures against the spread of the coronavirus during 4,853 inspections islandwide.

A police spokesperson told CNA that in Nicosia 2,348 checks were carried out and two individuals were booked, while in Limassol police carried out 439 checks and 19 were booked.

In Larnaca, there were 424 checks with no bookings while in Paphos there were 40 in sections where three people  two business owners were booked.

In the Famagusta area, 767 checks were carried out and 11 people booked and in the Morphou district, police carried out 195 checks, without any bookings.
