The Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council (PVCC) on Monday said it is continuing its campaign supporting communities in the Larnaca and Limassol areas that were devastated by last July’s wildfires.

The PVCC recalled that the fundraiser, approved by the interior ministry, continues while it is also calling for volunteers to help in small restoration projects in these communities.

“We invite volunteers, companies, professionals, to express their interest to the PVCC for providing voluntary work for small restoration projects in the affected areas (painting, repairs, cleaning, etc.),” it said.

Individuals and companies are also invited to offer coupons so that people from these communities, that saw their homes destroyed by the fire, can purchase domestic appliances, furniture, clothing and other items.

For donations: Bank of Cyprus

Account number: 357015667368

Hellenic Bank

Account number: 105-11-137244-01

The money collected will be given to those in need in cooperation with the competent state authorities.

Those interested in offering assistance may call the PVCC at 22 514786 or [email protected] .
