Police investigate ‘hidden’ camera in hospital locker room

Police on Tuesday were investigating after a camera was found in the women’s locker room at Nicosia general hospital.

Authorities received information after the camera was discovered in the locker room on Monday.

According to a police source, a 32-year-old male nurse admitted to the offence during police questioning.

A warrant was issued to search his car and house, where some electronic devices were found and sent for further examinations.

It was not specified whether the locker room is used by patients or staff of the hospital.
