Where do you live?
I like to say I’m between addresses but my current home is actually Athens, Greece

What did you have for breakfast?
Poached eggs with salmon at the hotel I’m staying at as I write this.

Describe your perfect day
An early but leisurely rise with a warm coffee pot ready to be served, ideally somewhere by the sea with movies, books and loved ones in proximity.

Best book ever read?
Madame Bovary. I think it had a profound impact on me.

Best childhood memory?
Endless beach days with my dad and family lunches around my grandma’s table.

What is always in your fridge?
Yoghurt.

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
I don’t drive much but I listen to a lot of 70s oldies these days.

What’s your spirit animal?
The giraffe. It has the biggest heart and I’m not claiming I do too, but it’s a good spiritual connection to aspire to.

What are you most proud of?
My openness and love of life.

What movie scene has really stayed with you?
The club Silencio scene in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive. It’s a masterpiece. Seen it countless times and it still blows me away every time.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
Virginia Woolf

If you could time travel when/where would you go?
1967, California

What is your greatest fear?
Death, the loss of hope, the missed potential

What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
It gets worse before it gets better.

Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone
Bad manners.

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
Knowing me, probably try to talk my way into getting on one of the escape space ships – surely they exist? Anything but sit around and wait to die, please!
