Coronavirus: Self-tests for non-Gesy beneficiaries

People who are fully vaccinated but are not Gesy beneficiaries may get their self-test kits from designated centres in all districts the health ministry said on Tuesday.

According to the ministry, Cypriot citizens or permanent residents that have completed their vaccination regimen in other EU member states or third countries, and who are not registered with Gesy may also get self-tests daily between 10 am and 1pm from the following places:

Nicosia – Old Nicosia hospital

Limassol – Motherhood centre, old Limassol hospital

Larnaca – Motherhood centre, old Larnaca hospital

Paphos – Motherhood centre, Paphos general hospital

Famagusta – Motherhood centre, Famagusta health centre, 25 Christou Kkeli st. Paralimni

They need to present an identification document and their vaccination card or the EU digital Covid vaccination certificate proving they have completed their vaccination regimen.

In case the self-test is positive, non-Gesy beneficiaries need to notify the public health coordination centre at [email protected]. They need to include in the message their full name, phone number, ID number, date of birth, their district, and a photo of their positive self-test.
