Coronavirus: 11 individuals and four businesses fines for breaches

In the last 24 hours, police booked 11 individuals and four businesses during 2,663 checks on people breaking Covid decrees.

In Nicosia no fines were issues while in Limassol four individuals and three businesses were booked.

Larnaca had six people booked and Paphos one individual and one businesses were fined.

There were no fines issued in the Famagusta and Morphou areas.

The fines issued against individuals were related to not wearing masks.

For the businesses it related to staff not wearing masks, overcrowding and illegally dancing.
