Police probe break-in at Larnaca vaccination centre

The vaccination centre at Larnaca port continues to operate as normal, Larnaca police said on Tuesday after launching an investigation into a break-in the previous night.

On Monday night, unknown perpetrators reportedly broke the glass door at the vaccination centre’s main entrance, which is located at the port’s arrivals hall.

Larnaca port officials reported the damage on Tuesday morning, and officers were sent to the scene immediately.

Police noted that none of the centre’s equipment – which includes computers and printers – was stolen, meaning the centre can continue working as normal.

They are examining CCTV footage from the area to potentially identify the perpetrators.

The glass door will be replaced after the police investigation is over.
