Four arrested for cannabis possession in Larnaca

Larnaca police said on Wednesday they had arrested four people over illegal cannabis possession.

The arrests resulted from a drug police operation in the district, during which several establishments were searched.

Police officers found 60 and 100 grammes of cannabis on two premises. The owners of the buildings were arrested on suspicion of illegal drug possession with the intent to deal, police said.

The two other individuals were arrested after a small quantity of cannabis was found in their possession.
