Man, 48, arrested for stealing electric generator

Police on Wednesday said they have arrested a 48-year-old man after finding a stolen electric generator outside his house.

The theft was reported to the police by a Limassol resident who said that from 8am to 1.30pm on Tuesday, unknown culprits broke into his warehouse and stole an electric generator.

Officers who arrived at the scene said that evidence emerged against the 48-year-old during investigations.

The stolen generator was found outside the fence of his house, police said.
