Brand of halvas recalled due to labelling omission

Authorities are recalling Makedonikos Halvas with cocoa (batch L 11206) and Olympos Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel Filled Halva (batch 202716) from the market as they contain milk proteins that are not listed on the ingredient label in violation of the provisions of food labelling legislation.

Milk proteins are an allergen.

Health services have already informed the companies distributing the product and instructed them to recall/withdraw all products from the specific batch.

Given that some items from the specific batch may already be in the possession of consumers, they are urged to refrain from consuming them and return them to the place they bought them from.
