Coronavirus: 12 people fined for breaking Covid measures

In the 24 hours leading to 6am on Monday, police fined 12 individuals for Covid decree violations, after 2,165 inspections.

In Nicosia, no fines were issued after 518 checks. In Limassol two fines were issued after 69 checks, in Larnaca 513 inspections led to three fines, in Paphos 62 inspections led to one fine, in Famagusta 509 checks were carried out resulting in six individual fines, while in Morphou 180 inspections were carried out, without any fines issued.

Traffic police carried out 134 checks, without any fines issued, while the port police conducted 180 checks without fines issued.
