Coronavirus: Fourth dose now available for all health workers

The health ministry announced on Tuesday that the fourth coronavirus vaccine dose – the second booster shot – is to be made available to all healthcare workers, regardless of their age.

The shots will be administered at walk-in centres, while those eligible must prove their identity, work credentials and that five months have elapsed since their previous dose.

Those eligible for the second booster are: people aged over 70, healthcare workers (no age limit) and immunocompromised / immunosuppressed individuals (no age limit).

The walk-in centres are operational on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 8am and 3pm. On Wednesday they are open from 8am to 4pm and Saturdays between 8am and 1pm.
