Warm weather to continue over holiday weekend

Summer conditions will continue throughout the weekend and on Easter Monday with increased sunshine and temperatures set to rise significantly hovering at around 30C, weather portal Kitas Weather said.

For Good Friday the weather will be clear with a few high clouds in the afternoon. The temperature is set to hover at around 20C to 26C and will drop to 12C at night.

On Holy Saturday the weather will be mostly clear during the day, recording a maximum temperature of 33C and a minimum of 27C. The overall temperature will be 4C-8C higher than the seasonal norm.

During the night, the weather will also be clear with the temperature hovering 3-5 degrees higher than the seasons normal, recording a maximum of 17C and a minimum of 12C.

On Easter Sunday the weather will be sunny with the temperature set to hover between 34C -22C during the day and 16C-11C minimum during the night.

On Easter Monday the temperature will not record any significant changes.

The risk of a fire outbreak and fire spreading is high, Kitas Weather warned.
