Man wanted for assault and causing bodily harm

A 38-year-old man from Polis Chrysochous is wanted in connection with a case of assault and causing bodily harm, dangerous and reckless driving, causing malicious damage, obstructing a police officer and other traffic offences, head of Paphos CID Michalis Nikolaou said on Monday.

Officer from the Polis Chrysochous police station on Sunday night went to arrest the 38-year-old man for causing real bodily harm to another person.

When police arrived, the man tried to flee by getting into his vehicle and driving dangerously and recklessly crashed into the front of the police vehicle, causing some damage before managing to escape.

Paphos CID is looking for the man.
