Weather forecast: Mainly fine, possible isolated showers in mountains

On Tuesday the weather will initially be mostly fine, however, from midday onwards, clouds will develop with the likelihood of isolated showers in the mountains.

The wind will be initially north-easterly to south-easterly and south-westerly, weak at 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and at the south and east coasts, southerly from 4 to 5 Beaufort.

The sea will be calm to slightly turbulent, becoming locally slightly turbulent in the south. Temperatures will rise to 35C inland, 29C on the west coast, 31C on the rest of the coast and 25C in the higher mountains.

On Tuesday night the weather will be mostly clear. The wind will be initially south-westerly to north-westerly, weak, and locally up to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly north-westerly to north-easterly and locally in the north, south-westerly, weak 3 Beaufort.

The sea will be calm to a slightly turbulent. Temperatures will drop to 20C inland, 22C on the southeast coast, 21C on the rest of the coast and around 16C in the higher mountains.

On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly fine, however, temporarily increased cloud cover will be observed from midday onwards, likely to give way to isolated showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains, inland and east.

On Thursday and Friday, the weather will be mostly fine, but from noon onwards, there will be increased cloud cover that will likely bring isolated showers, mainly in the mountains.

By Friday the temperature is expected to gradually rise, fluctuating between close to and slightly above average for the season.
