President Nicos Anastasiades still tested positive for coronavirus on Monday morning so will remain in self isolation, government spokesman Marios Pelekanos said.

Even though medical protocols would allow for him to follow his schedule as usual, he has made the responsible decision to remain in isolation.

The president will return to his activities as soon as he tests negative.

Anastasiades was first diagnosed with corona on July 19, and it was announced at the time his symptoms were mild.
