A fire which broke out on four different fronts between Mousere and Archimandrita communities in the Paphos district is under control having burned five hectares of dry grass, wild vegetation and a number of carob trees, the fire services said on Thursday.

The fire broke out at around 6.30 am. Six fire trucks from the fire services, the forestry department and the game fund were involved, assisted by two firefighting aircraft from the forestry department.
