Today’s Weather: Clear and fine but rain possible on Friday

Cyprus is set for a clear and calm Thursday but isolated showers can be expected by Friday in the mountains and some inland areas.

The meteorological office said on Thursday morning that the temperature is to hit 34C inland, 31C on the western coast, 33C on the rest of the coasts and 27C in the mountains.

At night, the temperature will drop to 20C inland, 22C along the coasts and 17C in the mountains.

Friday and over the weekend the weather is expected to be mainly clear but isolated showers may occur inland and on the mountains.

No major changes are expected over the weekend, although the temperature on Saturday is set to be slightly below the seasonal average but this will again rise slightly on Sunday.
